Cloning Function
“Cloning” can replicate a fully configured cloud phone (with installed applications, logged-in accounts, and completed environment setup) into multiple independent instances, significantly saving time on repeated configurations.
Cloning Steps
- Find the already configured “template” cloud phone instance
- Click on “More Actions” → “Clone” on the right side of the instance
- Enter the number of clones needed (e.g., 10)
- Click “Confirm Clone,” and the system will start batch creation
⏱ Cloning time is proportional to the amount of instance data. It is recommended to control the size of template data to improve cloning speed.
Clone vs. New Creation
| Comparison Item | Clone | New Creation |
|---|---|---|
| Speed | Fast (data replication) | Slower (new initialization) |
| Initial State | Inherit template configuration | Brand new system |
| Applicable Scenarios | Batch deployment of the same environment | Creating independent blank instances |
Backup Function
Regular backups can prevent data loss due to abnormal operations or system failures.
Creating a Backup
- In the instance list, click “More” → “Backup” for the target instance
- Enter a backup name (e.g., date
20250401) - Click “Start Backup” and wait for completion
Restoring from a Backup
- Go to the “Backup Management” page
- Find the target backup record
- Click “Restore” and choose to restore to the current instance or a new instance
- Confirm the operation and wait for the restoration to complete
Backup Storage Notes
- Backup files are stored in the local storage of the cloud box
- It is recommended to regularly export important backups to external storage or NAS
- When storage space is insufficient, please clean up expired backups in a timely manner
